How to care for your new Dublin River III Boots
Cleaning your River Boots
- Keeping your Dublin River Boots in good condition will extend their lifespan. This means regular cleaning, especially after being outdoors as manure, salt water and other liquids can be corrosive to leather.
- Clean off any mud, or other substances with a soft brush or damp cloth. Dublin offer a Pre Wash Spray which lifts dirt, stains and marks.
- If your boots are wet, leave to air dry before doing anything else. It is important to not dry in direct sunlight, or near central heating/radiators as this can cause the leather to crack.
- Using circular motions, apply a cream, spray or polish to your boots. Dublin Proof and Conditioner Leather Spray, will apply a wax emulsion to condition, protect and nourish smooth leathers. Dublin Leather Cream adds condition and shine to your boots.
- Ensure to test all products on an inconspicuous area before treating the whole boot.
- Use a clean cloth to buff off any extra product and provide a clean finish.
