Calming Cookies are designed for nervous or over-excitable horses that need a helping hand to settle down and remain focused, using all natural ingredients. One cookie can be fed 30-45 minutes before occasions such as travelling, loading, hacking, competing, or a vet or farrier visit.
  • L-Tyrosine is the active ingredient within Calming Cookies that stimulates the production of Seratonin, a natural mood stabilizer - this helps in working towards a more focused horse without affecting performance.
  • L- Arginine is another active ingredient used by the body to be changed into Nitric Oxide (NO). Nitric Oxide is used by the body to increase blood flow, and help the blood vessels relax too.
  • Calming Cookies contain no substances that are prohibited by the FEI.
  • All horses, like people, are different - some horses may benefit from a cookie the night before an event, where others may find a cookie 45 mins before competition more beneficial.
