The NutriScience AnxiKalm Complete is a nutritional suppliment in powder form that mainly consits of L-Tryptophan, Magnesium and Tryptophan. Ideal for use to calm excitable horses that are exposed to stressful conditions as the AnxiKalm Complete helps to counteract the horses natural "fight or flight" response. Some horses react more to magnesium and others to Tryptophan but AnxiKalm Complete contains both to provide optimal results.
L-Tryptophan: An amino acid that is converted to serotonin when in the body. When L-Tryptophan is combined with vitamin-B, anxiety and stress levels are reduced.
Magnesium: Important to maintain the integrity of nerve endings throughout the body. Also maintains the health of mucos membranes which play a role in the horses level of sensitivity and levels can be depleted by stress so important to replenish.
Tryptophan: Reduces the horses natural "fight or flight" response but does not sedate the horse. This ensures the horse can still perform at an optimal level.
