Samshield XJ Miss Matt – Limited Edition
The Samshield XJ Miss Matt – Limited Edition is an exquisitely designed helmet, offering optimum safety, comfort and stability. The outer shell of the XJ is made of pure carbon fibre, a composite material providing an unbeatable strength to weight ratio. The inner shell is made of polystyrene with variable density providing a better dissipation of the energy produced upon impact. The internal memory foam liner ensures a constant thickness over the years of use, and the semi-rigid jugular cancels all risks of tipping the helmet in case of a violent movement. This internal comfort foam is removable thanks to a much stronger clip system than the scratch Velcro system. It can also be machine washed to maintain a clean and fragrant helmet. Each shell can accommodate 5 to 6 inner foams of different sizes in order to obtain a perfect adjustment to the riders head. With this system, it is also possible to follow the growth of a young rider. Equipped with two front air inlets, the XJ provides exceptional ventilation. Fresh air is channelled from both the front entrance under the blazon as well as the channel obtained by the unique concept of no contact on the riders forehead. Fresh air expels the hot air to the back extractors to ensure no build up of heat and moisture. This strong internal airflow avoids the need for visible and unsightly air inlets. Samshield HatsTo measure for a riding hat, take the measurement of the circumference of your head. The measuring tape should sit just above the ears and wrap around the centre of the forehead and the back of your skull. The helmet should be a snug fit. As with all safety equipment, we would always recommend that hats are fitted by a trained and reputable retailer. Shadow Liner The Shadow liner is closed at the level of the forehead. It brings additional stability without compromising airflow.
 Premium Liner The Premium liner is open at the level of the forehead. It ensures optimal airflow without compromising the stability.
XJ Liner Liner Closed - The Closed liner brings additional stability. Liner Open - The Open liner ensures optimal airflow.
