The Shires Tempest Original 50g Turnout is ideally suited to mild, wet spring and autumn weather, with a 50g fill which provides a buffer between the inner and the outer lining of the rug to help with condensation issues caused by the humid outside temperature. Features include: Fully lined, adjustable buckle chest straps, adjustable cross surcingles, fillet strap, tail flap. Technical info: 50g polyfill. 600 denier ripstop outer. Waterproof and breathable. Shires Horse Rugs
The Back Measurement is from the horses wither to tail. Measure from the top of the wither to top of the tail. This will give you the EU rug size in cm/inches.
The Bottom Measurement is from the centre of the horses chest to the furthest rear point of the rump.
Choose the closest size available, if your horse is between sizes it is normally better to go up a size, unless the horse is particularly narrow chested or petite. A badly fitting rug will slip and could cause discomfort or even injury for the horse, and could result in damage to the rug itself.
