Fennel seeds have a relaxing effect if stomach and digestion is gassy or uncomfortable.
They can also help with appetite and maintain milk production especially in the first days following foaling.
It is traditionally used in gripewater for human babies.
Horses know when they need fennel. Offer a handful and see the difference when they are feeling uncomfortable.
Directions:
2-5g per feed two or three times daily.
NB Please consult a vet if your horse has colic or if concerned that your horse may have colic
